FinterLife is a joint stock company domiciled and registered in Liechtenstein, and is controlled by Finter Bank Zurich. Liechtenstein is a member State of the European Economic Area (EEA), so that FinterLife can freely offer its services in the European Union (Art. 5 (1) Directive 2002/83 EEC on Life Insurance Business) and in Switzerland (Insurance Treaty of 1997). The policies accounts are separated from the insurance company’s assets and they do not flow into the bankrupt’s assets. Furthermore, life insurance policies enjoy the Liechtenstein insurance secrecy, comparable to the Swiss banking secrecy.
Incorporated in 2006, FinterLife offers the 360° financial know-how of the «Fair Relationship Banking» of Finter Bank Zürich combined with its favorable location in Liechtenstein, jurisdiction allowing top levels standards as regards efficiency, flexibility and discretion.
